What is Antrodia Camphorata: Wild Antrodia Camphorata grows at 400~1500 meters above sea level, and is found in Taiwanese Bull Camphor Trees (Cinnamomum kanehirai Hay tree) only. The fungus is a protected species in Taiwan. Wild Antrodia Camphorata carpophores are perennial with a strong camphor smell and grow on the surface of inner hallows in the Bull Camphor Tree (Cinnamomum kanehirai Hay tree).
