A tasty blend of black beans and other fine ingredients. It gives an aromatic flavour to all types of stir-fried meat and seafood. Also excellent for steamed dishes.
Preparation (Serves 4):
- Marinate sliced beef (500g) with CHNG Kee's Black Bean Garlic Sauce (4 Tbsp/120g) together with sesame oil (1 Tbsp/7g) for 15 minutes.
- Slice 1 onion (approx. 100g), 1 piece red chilli (approx. 15g), 1 stalk spring onion (approx. 15-20g), cut into 1 inch length and set aside.
- Heat cooking oil (4 Tbsp/30g) in a frying pan. Stir-fry marinated beef and vegetables for approx. 1 minute. Add corn starch (2 Tsp/10g) diluted with water/chicken stock (150ml/150g). Mix well to thicken and serve hot.
