Tea Tarik is a hot beverage that's sold in restaurants, markets and food stalls throughout Singapore and Malaysia. The beverage is usually made with very strong tea and sweetened condensed milk. Its Malay name "Tarik" derives from the action of "pulling" the tea-- repeatedly pouring the beverage from a height in order to mix and froth it.
